Electrical Safety                4 Classroom Hours - 2 Class Sessions

This 2-part class will provide attendees a total of 4 hours CEUs. In this course, we will examine the NEC, NFPA, and OSHA requirements for safe work practices. Electrocutions account for one death everyday and arc flash results in 5-10 serious burn hospitalizations daily. This class will inform electrical workers as to the safe work practices prescribed by the aforementioned codes and special emphasis will be on NFPA 70E and NEC 110. In addition to qualifying for 4 hours contractor CEUs, this curriculum will provide four of the U.S. OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Program as specified and mandated by U.S. OSHA and now required by the state of Missouri for all workers on state projects. To obtain your OSHA Completion Card you must have one person per connection or a web camera connection and attend one of the continuation classes scheduled within 60 days. Class meets 2 hours per day for 2 days.
